Rico is the youngest ever Ironman 70.3 World Champion. In 2016 Rico switched from competitive swimming to triathlon. The following years he picked up the basic speed on the short distance. In 2023 Rico produced his breakthrough performance winning Ironman 70.3 Kraichgau followed by being crowned the youngest ever Ironman 70.3 World Champion in Lahti (Finland) in August 2023. Rico wants to grow to the leading PTO ranked triatlete in the world and shares this dream with Kú Cycle.
