Having never swam, merely dabbled in biking, and only run 5mi at my furthest, I jumped straight into the triathlon deep end with ‘21 IM Wisconsin to honour two of my biggest inspirations - Kevin Heller and Gary Riekes. I fell in love with the sport and continue to race in their memory while supporting ALS research and my local community center, The Riekes Center. Forever inspired by their passion, I could not be more excited to represent Kevin and Gary at Kona this October.
